The Genesis
The idea for SIC was born alongside 'SRM Seat Finder'—a small project built to solve a 20-year-old campus problem, proving the power of student-led innovation.
2025
The Foundation
Started as a core team of 7 passionate builders. We shipped multiple high-impact projects designed to directly improve the daily lives of SRM students.
2026
Exponential Growth
Our collective rapidly expanded to over 70+ elite members. Our portfolio of open-source projects continues to scale as we redefine the student tech ecosystem.

SRM VERSE - Academia Session Bridge securely transfers an authenticated SRM Academia session to SRM VERSE using a one-time 6-digit code. The extension reads authentication cookies from academia.srmist.edu.in and securely sends them to SRM VERSE after explicit user approval. This allows students to access SRM VERSE services without manually signing in again.

After a quick one-time setup using your SRM email, ChatGPT can securely retrieve and help you explore your library content, making studying faster and more interactive. Search papers, find notes, ask questions about your materials, and get instant assistance without leaving ChatGPT.

Built using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, the platform is deployed on Vercel and AWS Lambda with strong security measures, including device-bound tokens, rate limiting, and CORS protection.
